About carbon fiber tape & carbon fiber rope

Our carbon fiber tape and rope is a resistive material which, when a current is applied, generates heat. Our carbon fiber tape is viscose based.
It’s very soft, thin and flexible which enables it to be used in a wide range of textile applications where it may be subjected to continual movement and bending.
The carbon fiber tape has similar characteristics to other heating elements available on the market however it is unique because of its flexibility and softness.
In addition, another important factor with our tape is that, unlike conventional heaters, it emits infrared heat that not only warms the top layer of the body but can also penetrate up to 5cm deep into the body making it far superior to other heating solutions currently on the market.

It's ideal for DIY heated clothing and other textile applications where a flexible and portable heat source is required.
You can make your own inexpensive heated gloves, insoles, heat pads to help relieve rheumatic pain, jackets, bed linen, blankets, mattresses, pillows, beds, and other textile applications, as 'stun gun' or Taser-proof clothing, which require flexibility whilst being resistant and forgiving to repeated bending.

The carbon rope temperature difference with the temperature of the carbon tape under the same test conditions.
This is due to a significant difference in surface area (heat dissipation area). Since the scattering area is smaller, the thermal equilibrium is established at a higher temperature.

Advantages of carbon tape:
1. Easy to heat whole the body evenly even with big gaps between tapes.
2. Very thin, can be placed every where and you never fill it.
Disadvantages of carbon tape:
1. Big cost.

Some of manufacturers very like to use carbon rope.
Advantages of carbon rope:
1. Less cost
2. It is more convenient to work
3. It is easier to accommodate in tight spaces
4. Even with a small power user feels the heat from each rope. (but this is false sense of warmth). This effect is also observed in the clothes heated nichrome. And when using Nichrome or Rope person will feel the warmth of every individual heater thread, even if the total capacity of the heaters is not enough to warm the whole body.
Disadvantages of carbon rope:
1. We usually place heating elements with a big gap (15-25 cm) and because of small width of carbon rope our body will not heat evenly so we use the rope we should place it with very small gaps (5-10 cm).
But the carbon rope itself heat absolutely uniformly.
2. Thicker than tape, it is not convenient for insoles or for the back of a vest.
